This is another risky design, which sticks out from the others in the eveningwear, but again…definitely corresponds with the line but isn’t noticed as quickly. The color is a new introduction being blue and sky blue mixing. I used my African American model for this dress because I felt that the blue would flatter her skin tone perfectly amongst the other dresses. The shawl looking thing in the front is actually a coat, which drapes with a shawl neckline. The coat has a beaver fur collar on one side and stretch satin on the other giving an even balance. The rest of the dress is satin brocade with Caribbean style prints, which correspond to daywear 2 and 4. Like daywear 1, I felt that a back view wasn’t exactly needed and for presentation, another face portrait was illustrated for style.
